Daisy Cottage is situated in the beautiful seaside village of Sea Palling. It is a very short walk to the beach (along Beach Road, of course!) and is an utterly gorgeous traditional Victorian mid-terraced cottage. Daisy just oozes charm and comfort and you can’t help feeling a little bit of history on approach to the front door.
The owners have stayed very true to Daisy’s Victorian roots. There are lovely features to admire, with the original doors (with beautiful panelled glass) and lovely wooden floors throughout. Open the sash window in the living room to feel the sea breeze and pick up the seaside ambience. A truly gorgeous Norfolk gem!
Daisy is ideally placed. As well as being in the hub of a beautiful seaside village, a 2 minute walk to the beach, with access to cafes, fish and chip shop, a pub, an amusement arcade, a local shop which sells practically everything(!) and a Post Office, but its ideal for exploring all along our Norfolk coast! Turn right on entry to the beach to walk along to Waxham and Horsey…..Great for seal-spotting! Or get out and about in the car and visit Winterton-on-Sea, or across the other side to Happisburgh and further up the coast to Mundesley, Cromer and Sheringham.
Arrival at Daisy is on foot (cars must be parked in the local car park just a short stroll away). Open the little picket gate and take in the smells of a lovely little cottage garden. A large rosemary bush to your right hand side smells divine in the breeze. A small path leads to the front door, where you walk into the:
There is a gorgeous feature woodburner with a complimentary basket of wood for your stay. (More can be purchased at the local shop across the road). The wooden floor has cosy rugs and there are two very cosy and comfy sofas (with throws) to enjoy. The lovely owners have supplied a myriad of books, DVDs and games for your enjoyment as well as a TV with internet and BlueRay and an iPod docking station. An absolutely gorgeous room for relaxing and having poochy cuddles! Walk through (with the stairs on your right hand side) to the:
A delightful room to enjoy seaside meals and a few glasses of wine around the beautiful wooden dining table (set for 4). The sideboard contains dining table equipment (mats, cutlery etc). There is a super view from the large window to the large rear garden. To your right hand side, there is a walk in under-the-stairs cupboard which contains all pooch related items such as dog throws and towels, and spare dog bowls for your pooches use. Walk through the dining room to the:
The kitchen is a lovely space with views to the back garden, fully fitted units, including a fitted tall fridge freezer. There is an electric oven (and hob), a dishwasher, washer / dryer and microwave. If you would like to order a supermarket delivery for your arrival, we will happily put it all away for you in readiness for your arrival at Daisy Cottage. Go back through the Dining Room and turn left to go:
There is a fixed stairgate at the bottom of the stairs. Walk up the stairs (which has a handrail) but which are a little steep.
Daisy Cottage has two very gorgeous bedrooms (both with extra comfy double beds). Wooden floors upstairs with lovely rugs throughout. Both bedrooms have lots of storage space with chests of drawers and hanging space in cupboards in both rooms.
Bedroom 1 has views of the front of the cottage with Bedroom 2 having views of the rear of the property and the gorgeous cottage garden. Go to the end of the hallway to the:
The very pretty bathroom has all new fittings with a bath with fitted shower over it (with a shower screen), toilet and sink. Come back down the stairs, turn right into the Dining Room, through the Kitchen and out through the back door to the:
The rear garden at Daisy Cottage is truly beautiful. It is a haven of colour just perfect for attracting butterflies and birds. It has been thoughtfully planted with cottage-style flowers and plants which provide colour throughout the year. There is a table and chairs just outside the kitchen area (which is a lovely sun trap). The garden is in two sections, the first of which is utterly dog proof, with the second part of the garden still enclosed and fenced but may be jumpable to the movers and shakers of the dog world!

So glad we found this lovely y cottage, the dogs loved their time here an enjoyable break away from the norm. The weather was kind to us which is always a bonus.
The cottage itself had everything one needed, its actually made us think about moving! Yes we could fit in somewhere smaller than we have. Would definitely recommend and yes we will be back
Wow. Amazing Cottage. Everything that we could have needed.
We have done circular walks every way, worn us all out. Yesterday we walked a couple of hours each way along the beach, the sea mist with the tide in was beautiful. everything about this holiday had been just perfect

Wonderful week staying in Daisy Cottage. Love the cottage with all its little touches. We all appreciated the welcome goodies (including jack who loved the dog biscuits!). We really enjoyed the boat trip from Blakaney to see the seals (Bishops Boats) – do remember to book though! Smallsticks café in Happisburgh was great for breakfast and cakes! Massive thanks Gail!
