Welcome to Cosy Corner, our lovely detached bungalow tucked away on the quiet outskirts of Sea Palling. 🌊 If you’re dreaming of a proper “get away from it all” break where the only thing you have to worry about is which pair of walking boots to put on, you’ve found the right spot! 🥾
The location is a bit of a secret gem—it’s on a peaceful lane with hardly any passing traffic, yet you’re literally steps away from the dunes. There’s a path directly opposite the cottage that takes you right over the sandy banks and down onto one of Norfolk’s most stunning Blue Flag beaches. 🏖️🐾

Relaxed, Single-Level Living
One of the best things about Cosy Corner is how accessible it is. Pull up onto the driveway (space for two cars inside the gates!) and head inside. There is just one small threshold step at the front door, and from there, the entire cottage is on one level. No stairs to navigate means a much more relaxing stay for both humans and hounds. 🐾
🧼 The Boot Room (Lobby)
The lobby is a proper lifesaver after a beach walk! It’s got plenty of space for hanging up salty coats and a dedicated cupboard for the washing machine, so you can whisk away those sandy towels the moment you get back. 🧺

The heart of the cottage is open-plan, keeping everything easy to reach:
The Kitchen: Well-planned and fully equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. 🍎
The Lounge: Sink into the sofas, get the woodburner roaring, and catch up on Netflix. 📺🔥 We’ve used laminate flooring with rugs—it's much easier on the paws and a breeze to keep clean.

Directly outside the living room is a covered decking area, which is fantastic for alfresco dining even if the weather isn't playing ball. 🌧️🍴 The second patio area is perfect for soaking up the sun and features a built-in barbecue for those summer evening feasts.
Safe & Secure: The garden is mainly laid to lawn and is fully enclosed by a 4ft wall once the double driveway gates are closed. 🛡️
The Extras: We’ve tucked a shed away with windbreaks and deck chairs for your beach trips. There is also a separate lean-to—perfect for securely storing bicycles, surfboards, or even a mobility scooter. 🚲🏄♂️

❓ FAQs
Is the garden secure? 🛡️ The garden is enclosed by a 4ft wall. It’s perfect for most, but if you have a dog that is a professional jumper, you’ll want to keep an eye on them!
Is the BBQ provided? 🍔 Yes! There is a built-in BBQ on the second patio area—just remember to bring your own charcoal.
How close is the beach? 🏖️ It’s roughly a 2 to 5-minute walk. The path is just across the road, making it incredibly easy to get down to the water for sunrise walks!

We have had an amazing week, just a lazy week enjoying the beach. Cosy Corner is an amazing place to stay and it is equipped with everything you could think of needing. It truly felt like a home from home and our wee dog Maisie settled right in and so did our tortoise Missy. Everything was so clean and tidy and will definitely be back in 2026

Cosy corner, this property is well suited to it’s name. From the moment we arrived I knew it was just what I had been looking for. Attention to detail second to none, for both humans and dogs. Ideal for snuggling up by the fire for some relaxing or with, the beach literally a stones throw from endless golden sands, beautiful peaceful walks to be enjoyed.
And to top it all at night there’s just perfect silence, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine on one of the seating areas.
Came home with many happy memories to last until I return again.

Lovely cottage ideally placed for our 3 dogs to go onto the beach ever day, accessible even at high tide. Nothing is far to drive to. Cottage has everything you need, log burner lovely on a cold night. Very lucky with the weather even walked to Happisburgh along the beach!

Yet another comfortable stay at Cosy Corner. We have enjoyed several of Sea Pallings cottages but this one stands out over the rest. Well situated, good parking and apart from one evening using the woodburner, warm and ‘Cosy’. We shall return!

We’ve had two stays at Cosy Corner and both have been absolutely fabulous. This time we had a mixture of weather conditions, mostly cold and windy, but Cosy couldn’t have been cosier. The lovely wood burner was great .
Cosy Corner is ideal for us with four dogs in tow. It always felt safe letting them out for wees as it’s very secure.
The cottage is scrupulously clean and very well laid out, with everything where you’d expect it to be.
Beds and pillows are comfy with super cotton bed linen and the bath towels are huge.
The beach is so accessible and at this time of year almost empty. We absolutely love it and will be back!

The garden was lovely and if it hadn’t been January I’m sure I would have made use of the seating areas more but the dogs loved being able to wander round without me worrying about them escaping or barking all the time.

This has honestly been the best dog friendly holiday I’ve ever had. Most seem to be slightly tatty and in need of a clean. NOT so Cosy Cottage, everything is immaculate and the facilities are great from the kitchen, outside space, and proximity to the beach to the TVs and broadband. I loved the log burner too! What an ideal cottage, everything you need and so dog friendly. Our four really enjoyed themselves, Woody our Basset Fauve might have enjoyed it more if he had been freed from the flexi lead, but as a jumper we didn’t want to test the security of the wall surrounding the front of the property. The welcome basket was very welcome! and a nice thought. The property is so well situated and so well equipeed that we’ve already booked for November 2022 and 2023. Can’t give a better recommendation. Gail was most helpful with any quries. Would have liked longer but with a very popular property it is difficult to find a vacant slot.
