3 Star Reactive Dog Friendly

3 Star Reactive Dog Rated

Nautilus is a top rated 3 STAR rated Reactive Friendly cottage. Here are the reasons why Nautilus is situated on a very rural quiet road and does have neighbours. As it is a quiet (more residential area) there is little traffic noise. On entering the cottage driveway and securing the side gate, the rear garden is fully secure to a height of 6 feet high. There are neighbours to either side of the property but it is extra quiet and there are no dogs either side of the property

Nautilus is situated on a quiet road just a few minutes walk to the beach. It is all on one level and has parking for two cars in the cottage driveway. Access to the beach is via a path over the dunes and straight onto the gorgeous dog friendly beach at Eccles.

It’s a short drive to Sea Palling and a 5 minute drive to the dog friendly Star Inn at Lessingham.

There are lovely quiet lanes to walk around the local area too and several bridle paths to explore the local area

  1. Grace

I came to Nautilus from London with eight lively dogs and had a very enjoyable week, despite very poor weather including almost daily rain, cold, and heavy winds. The cottage was lovely and cosy, very secure for the dogs with a small fenced garden and fitted with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. Best of all was the beach, only a few minutes walk down the road. Everyday, in between the rain showers, I took several walks on the beach with a small pack of 3-4 dogs. I was delighted to be able to frequently let all my dogs run free on the beach without much worry of confrontations with other dogs or taking off in the wrong direction as the beach usually had very few other people on it besides myself, and the beaches were well protected by the lengthy concrete flood defence structures which prevented my crazy pooches from running away. When it did rain, I enjoyed relaxing in the cottage and watching many Netflix movies with a hot cup of tea. We also had time to explore a little bit around the local area, including visiting Sea Palling and the Museum of the Broads, where we enjoyed an informative boat tour of the Broads. My dogs and I enjoyed our stay at Nautilus and the local beaches very much, so when it came time to go, I was very sad to return to normal life. However, I do hope to return again as Nautilus is the perfect getaway for someone looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday with the pooches.

  2. Jane, Yvonne and Ollie

Although we have not travelled far (South Norfolk and Cambridgeshire) the change of scenery and peace and quiet has been just what we needed.
The weather has been lovely (for once) and lunches in the garden enjoyed by me and mum
Ollie, my new 8 year old rescue has loved the beach on his doorstep – he is going to miss it, as am I!!
Nautilus is lovely, great to be so close to the beach, which, on a busy walk, I think we saw 6 people!?
