3 Star Reactive Dog Friendly

3 Star Reactive Dog Rated

Ollands Farm Barn is a 3 star reactive friendly barn. Here are the reasons why. The rear garden is fully enclosed with 6 feet fencing around. There is a 3 feet picket gate on the right hand side (as you look out of the back door) leading to the owners’ garden. There might be a possibility of seeing the owners’ dogs through the picket gate. There is a similar 3 feet picket gate on the left hand side, which leads to an unused but secure area. The entrance to the barn is via an iron gate into a secure courtyard – both areas can be fully used by you and your dogs

It is a 20 minute walk to the lovely dog-friendly Star Inn at Lessingham, a 45 minute walk to the very friendly Lighthouse Inn at Walcott well known for its great food and dog friendly welcome, and a 40 min walk to Cart Gap (dog friendly) beach….or a 5 minute car drive!

The owners have a fabulous dog paddock for use whilst you are there on your holiday.   The paddock is not fully secure but is enclosed and is a perfect place to spend time off lead with your dog having zoomies and perhaps a wee bit of agility work!   Use of the field can be arranged with our lovely owners and you are welcome to use it as long as they are not using it with their dogs.

  2. Paula and Chris

Lovely cosy bar with log burner.
Wonderful location, so so quiet. Favourite beach is Bacton, our 3 Golden Retrievers love the beach, easy to park and access. Cart Gap beach walking walking along to Happisburgh. Smallsticks Cafe a must, amazing breakfast and cake! Cafe at Overstrand and pretty village of Mundesley,
We have had the perfect stay at Ollands Farm Barn. Thank you for your lovely welcome with the log burner being lit for us and showing us around. The welcome basket was excellent, all that was needed for our few days
We will definitely be back for a cheeky little break!

  3. Alison Andy Lucy

Thank you so much Kim and Mary-Ann for a wonderful relaxing holiday.
We’ve been coming every year (sometimes twice!) for at least 12 years but this is our first Christmas in the barn
    Absolutely amazing!!!!

  4. Marianne Paul, Big Nigel Frank Alan Steve Jeff and Alan (the gang)

After our first stay in July, we couldn’t wait to return. Its been a chilly and wet week so we’ve kept the log burner going and been super cosy and relaxed. We have had an amazing break, it was just what we needed to prepare for the Christmas rush on return! Im sure its no coincidence that all the owners cottages we’ve been to recently have Deerhounds. Its very likely that we will return with one in the future! Thank you for such a warm welcome. We had to test out the vets detailed in the book this week. They were great, they saw Jeff on the same day and got him sorted

  5. Paul and Marianne and Nigel Jeff Steve and Alan

A lovely cottage, super friendly friendly hosts and hounds and a great location. We loved the walks along the beach and with lots of routes to choose from straight out of the gate, we were spoilt for choice. Our hounds Nigel, Jeff, Alan and Steve loved the sofas, logs burner and ‘dog chats’ with the neighbours as well as runs on the beach. We will definitely be back and the cottage having everything we needed, it provided a much needed break.
