Pat, Lawrence and David and Zimmi –
Thank you for letting us stay at your exceptionally well equipped cottage. Great to have such a well fenced garden for Zimmi, our dog, to wander around. The cottage has everything we need for a restful break and only a stones throw from Sea Palling lovely beach, and only a short drive from lots of interesting places to visit
Hope to be back in the spring
Lesley –
This is our 5th visit to Saretta and another visit booked up for May next yaer.
Due to the wonderful dog friendly beach, amazing fish and chip shop (also selling lobster and crab) a peaceful situation
Saretta itself has never disappointed, always clean and with everything needed for your stay. Our beautiful boy loves his stays here, Im sure he has a big smile the moment the car pulls into the driveway.
If you are driving up towards Felbrigg, the estate has great walks in open pastures and woods on the way. A must stop is Groveland Farm shop, excellent food and butchers cannot be faulted.
AG Meale and Sons have a fab fresh fruit and veg supply as they grow their own strawberries, raspberries, plums and you can pick your own, depending on the season (13 mins away)
They also have a fresh fish stall on certain days,
Saretta perfectly placed, thank you to all your team Gail, and the owners for this lovely let. I could go on LOL xxx
Mira and Paul –
This was our third time back at Saretta (last year we stayed at The Milk Parlour and Heron Cottage (split week)). Last time we were here was with my beloved collies, Jessie and Bailey Bob who I sadly lost to kidney failure. 2023 – Jessie and 2024 Bailey Bob. My new dogs, Billy Bob (7 – collie) and Tiggy Wiggy a 12 year old labradoodle (had two years)
Absolutely loved Sea Palling beach from 7..30am to 7.30pm! Also went to see the seals at Horsey.
Poppylands Tea Room again – both gorgeous!
Collies are super intelligent and they are! Off to the beach to throw my ball please!
Thank you for the lovely treats for us and the dogs
Had rain 2-3 days, but have loved sitting for a morning coffee on the patio set in the sun! Looking forward to our next Pack Holiday! Thank you so much
Geoff, Karen, Esther, Joshua and Willow –
This is our first visit to the lovely Saretta and it wont be our last!
We have visited the beach every day for a swim and paddle in the sea. Willow the dog particularly loved rolling around in the sand!
We loved seeing the seals at Horsey beach and having a lovely cake and drink at Poppylands 1940s Tearoom – we recommend a visit!
We also found ‘Broadlands Fish and Chips’ in Stalham good value if you dont mind a 10 min drive
Then Sandy Hills Snack Bar for your Whippy Ice Cream and doughnuts as recommended by our 10 year old.
Saretta – You have been wonderful, memory making holiday home and we will see you again soon
The Dent Family –
This was our fourth visit to Saretta. Back with all the family and Frenchies, minus Chuck the pug and Sapphire the Frenchie as they saly passed over the Rainbow Bridge earlier this year. Gingey and Steve the Frenchies had lots of fun running around the garden and very thankful for the rabbit dog treats!
We were very blessed with the lovely weather and as usual the beautiful surroundings. Was a chilled week and stayed local, making use of the wonderfu beach and Mermainds Catch!
The house was as welcoming as ever, had everything we need and couldnt ask for more. Will be back soon. Thank you!
Barbara, Michael, Christopher and Andrew plus Pippa the dog of course! –

Andrew is full of energy and loves the beach and everything he can do there

Yet another wonderful stay at Saretta despite the windy weather
As always Sea Palling gave us a lovely relaxing break
Anne Meredith –
What a fantastic base Saretta is from which to explore this beautiful part of Norfolk – amazing beaches, the Broads on the doorstep, lovely places to eat and such friendly and welcoming people! We loved being at Saretta – everything has been thought of to ensure that both humans and dogs are comfortable and happy. And Gail is such a responsive and helpful person if there is any issue whatsoever – eg she had a plumber at the house within 24 hours to fix a radiator, and went out of her way to ensure that everything was perfect. Our nervous greyhound loved the gardens and had a wonderful time exploring the huge, almost empty beaches in the October sunshine. Huge thanks! We will definitely be coming back!
Lesley –
Second time here and still a peaceful relaxing stay. Cola loved the beach
New owners of the local chippy now serving lobster on Fridays was amazing, bigger than at Hirst, which which we love and dog friendly (Dabs and Crabs)

Another great visit (3rd) Welcome pack was much appreciated,. Very dog friendly home from home, clean and well stocked
Christine Bailey –
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saretta, despite dreadful weather! Comfortable, well-equipped bungalow just a few minutes from the glorious beach. It was a real joy to know that throws would be provided for the furniture, as they are so bulky to pack. Also provided are dog towels and bowls. All mod cons for the humans too. Nice secure garden, I can imagine the little conservatory would be really snug on a warm day too. We enjoyed the local beaches and NT estates for walks, and can recommend a trip out on the water with Ross’ Wildlife Tours – dogs are welcome- would be better without the drenching, but hey ho!
Barbara and Mike –
This is the fifth time we have been to Saretta over the last three years. It is like coming home – we love it so much. Pippa is very reluctant to leave and we have had to make her get into the car. She loves the beach too.
Christina and Scott, Wookie Kora Norman and Maggie –

Deborah, David and Bonnie and Audrey –
We have had a lovely relaxing week, despite the breezy weather – very bracing on the beach!
We have been very comfortable, conservatory was lovely and warm during the day and the dogs can come and go in the garden
We enjoyed a chippy tea from the Mermaids Catch (the cauliflower wings a nice veggie option). Had donuts and doggy ice cream from Sandy Hills. Lovely fresh asparagus and eggs from the farm shop and cakes from the local shop. Walked along the beach to Waxham and enjoyed a sandwich and halloumi bagette at Dunes Cafe

We had a wonderful holiday again at Saretta at Sea Palling. It did not rain but the wind was a little keen but it was everywhere else too. It did not stop us from walking miles a long the beach. Beautiful sand with the odd pebble which made it very interesting. Our son and young grandson stayed for a long weekend and we had a great time honing our skills with sand castles and sea defences! Pippa our English springer spaniel had a wonderful time and she remembered from the year before as to where we were staying. Saretta is very well equipped, extremely clean and has a lovely secure garden. Not being far from the beach was a great benefit. The whole village is dog friendly and made us all welcome. We have booked again for next year
Mike Barbara and Pippa –
