Reactive Dog Guide
Dava Lodge is a 2 star reactive friendly property. Here are the reasons why. Timid and shy dogs would thrive in this environment given the amount of outdoor space and the lack of population 🙂 There are acres of woodland to explore, where often, you wont meet another soul. It would not be suitable for dogs who are overtly dog or people reactive however, and here is why: We are absolutely delighted you are bringing your dog(s). Please do be aware that there are other people and dogs on site. For this reason, if you have an overtly reactive dog, this may not be the most suitable choice for you. If you have a very friendly soul please do keep a lead with you as dogs at other lodges may not be quite as friendly. Please do of course let them off the lead in the woods. We would be very grateful if you could ensure dogs do not jump on bedding etc. If you wish to go out, dogs are welcome to stay in the lodge for a few hours unattended, as long as you bring a suitable crate with you. We have two dogs and they treat their crates as home, but we fully appreciate some dogs do not like like crates, so if this is the case, all we would then ask is if you go out, then your dogs must go with you, Our main aim is to ensure that visiting dogs are happy and not distressed in any way
