The Byre, Cwm March Farmhouse Cottages, Llandysul, Ceredigion, SA44 4LR

The Byre is an accessible one level luxury 2 bedroom barn conversion situated in Stallion Valley secluded retreat.  This gorgeous cottage (and The Mill next door) has so much to offer in this gloriously quiet area of Wales.  But you don’t just have the vast and amazing outdoors to explore as you have so much on site to enjoy.  A secure dog play paddock, a games room with table tennis, pools and darts, a pond and 3 acres onsite to explore!

The onsite 3 acres of land is at the end of a 400 metre stone farm track. Its boundaries are a cordon of mature trees and in summer, when they are in leaf there is a feeling of splendid isolation. Beyond the trees are farm fields usually grazed by, horses, sheep and or cattle.

There are off road walks from your doorstep. A public footpath runs through Stallion valley and connects to a scenic rural footpath network. You can walk for miles, through a rolling landscape of fields & woods with magnificent views without crossing a road. Maps are provided on site

On site take the dogs for morning strolls through the paddock, woods and down to the ponds and spot the quirky sculptures.

The lovely owners provide free range eggs can recommend excellent butchers, organic vegetables, farm shops, cheeses makers and fish mongers all of whom supply local products. Alternatively, if you are happy with the “easy rather than the good life”, Tesco deliver here.

The local pub restaurant, The Gwarcefel Arms, offers a warm West Wales welcome to all, including well behaved dogs. It serves a good range of drinks and excellent pub food. Within a short driving distance there are details of a wide range of options, ranging from excellent “take aways” to “a la carte” restaurants.

Dogs are wholeheartedly welcomed here. The Byre features a private, fully enclosed garden that’s safe for playful pups

Guests love the worry‑free setup—one even said it was “the first garden they have not been able to escape from”

West Wales has so much to offer, close to beaches, mountains, lakes, rivers, forests, castles, harbours and historic market towns!
