The Living Space ποΈ Pompian Lodge is a massive 1800ftΒ² of open-plan comfort. The kitchen is well-equipped with an air fryer, dishwasher, and plenty of prep space. The lounge area features a full-sized pool table and a large Smart TV. Itβs the perfect spot to relax while the dogs sprawl out on the tiled floors (don't worry, we have plenty of throws for the sofas!).Β The sofa turns into a sofa bed if you have more than two guests!
The Bedroom Sanctuary π€ The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed and your own private sauna. Imagine coming back from a blustery walk at Southport or Formby, rinsing the dogs in the warm-water area, and then stepping into your own sauna to thaw out. The en-suite features a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.
Outdoor Freedom πΏ Outside, you have a furnished patio for morning coffees. Ian is also creating a dedicated area of secure fencing, ensuring your dogs have a private, "worry-free" zone right outside the door. Beyond your secure area, you are surrounded by the 4 acres of the farmβjust keep an eye out for the friendly resident goats and horses! ππ΄

The star of the show is undoubtedly the West Lancs K9 Splash. Housed in a huge marquee, this 16β x 32β heated pool is designed for dogs of all sizes and confidence levels.

Easy Access: πͺ Features a gentle ramp so even nervous swimmers or older dogs can enter the water safely.

Towel Policy: π§Ό Specialized "Splash" towels are provided for the poolβwe kindly ask that lodge towels remain for human use only!

How does the pool booking work? πββοΈ Your stay includes a free 40-minute "Pack Splash" session. Additional private sessions can be booked directly with Ian and Gill.
Will my dog be swimming with others? πβπ¦Ί No. All sessions at K9 Splash are private-hire only, meaning you and your pack have the entire pool to yourselves.
Is the garden really secure? π Ian is currently installing specialized secure fencing to create a dedicated private area for the lodge. While very secure, we always remind guests that horses and goats live on the wider 4-acre estate, so high-prey-drive dogs should be supervised.
Can I bring more than three dogs? πππ Yes! We are multi-dog friendly. While our standard listing is for up to 3 dogs, we welcome larger packsβjust let Gail know the details when booking.
What should I bring for the pool? π§Ό We provide specialized "Splash" towels for the dogs and flotation vests. We suggest bringing your own swimwear and a change of clothes if you plan on getting in the water with your pup!

We had a lovely relaxing break in your beautiful lodge. Really enjoyed the pool table. But the highlight was definitely watching Charlie, George and Phoebe having the time of their lives in the swimming pool. Ian really has a talent for earning the dogs’ trust – I never in a million years thought George would be jumping in on his own after just a few minutes but he absolutely overcame his fears. Lovely welcome from Ian, what can I say! The cottage has everything you need, the owners have thought of everything to make the stay perfect. The sauna was a wonderful welcome as I have health issues and this helped my joints. Our son enjoyed the pool table and improved his skills, our dog loved the big open space and next time we stay (which we will certainly be doing) we will use the doggy pool! Enjoyed our visit to Blackpool and then family games in the afternoon / evenings. Lovely views and lovely taste / decor. See you soon
