Number 1 The Cottages is a fabulously dog welcoming, relaxing, quiet and restful cottage to recharge your batteries and spend some time enjoying Norfolk at its best! Aylmerton is just a few miles from Cromer (one way) and Sheringham and Beeston Regis (the other way). You have the best of both worlds – quiet and peaceful cottage, yet lots of things close at hand to experience along the coast, You will find a pub a short walk away (half a mile) and Felbrigg Hall is practically on your doorstep!! Felbrigg Hall cafe is a further half mile walk from the side entrance which has lovely food and coffee and some indoor dog friendly tables and lots of outside tables to sit at in the sunshine. There is a gift shop, plant shop and second hand bookshop at Felbrigg too.

Reactive Dog Guide
1 The Cottage, Church Road is a 3 Star Reactive Friendly Cottage and here are the reasons why. The cottage garden is at the rear of the cottage and is surrounded by a fully secure and solid 6 feet fence all around. The area is quiet (though there are neighbours to either side and the rear) but it is a small village, with little passing traffic and little to react to
Accessibility guide
Both bedrooms are upstairs (bathroom is downstairs). The stairs are quite steep (Norfolk winder) but has a bannister to assist going up and down but do be careful. This cottage is not suitable for those with mobility issues

On Arrival
Park your car in the driveway, There is room for 1 car but there is on street parking if needed for other cars
Enter through the front door into the:
Kitchen
The kitchen is very well equipped with an electric cooker, slimline dishwasher, a fridge freezer (30/70 with the 70 being fridge space), microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of kitchen utensils to cook up a storm,
Living Area
There is plenty seating for 4 people with a fabric sofa and an armchair, a 43 inch flatscreen TV with Netflix. There is a gorgeous woodburner, lovely traditional features and a permanent dog crate 70cm wide. (There is a further crate on site 77cm length but do ask if you need further crates)
There is a dining table with 2 chairs and a bench
There is hard flooring throughout downstairs
Downstairs Shower Room
The shower room is a beautifully designed room with a large shower, toilet and sink all in white
Upstairs
Bedroom 1
Is light and airy with a king sized bed, built in wardrobe and unit storage plus chest of drawers and side units with lamps (anything else you want to say). There are views over the front of the property
Bedroom 2
Is light and airy with a twin beds, built in wardrobe with small half height hanging space, and side unit with lamp. There are views over the rear of the property
The stairs and bedrooms are carpeted
Garden
The garden is accessed via the rear kitchen door. It is fully secure up to the height of 6 feet all around and is solid fenced. The garden is mainly laid to patio and shrubs (no grass)
