Drive past the village shop and pond to find Whistle Stop perfectly positioned opposite the green. Step into the lobby—a brilliant, practical space for shedding boots, leads, and drying off muddy dogs after a trek.

The Dining Room: A warm, welcoming space with a large table for six, exposed beams, and an electric log-effect fire. 🪵 We’ve stocked the dresser with board games and books for those slow holiday evenings.
The Kitchen: Light and well-equipped with a Belfast sink, double electric oven, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The kitchen door lead straight out to the secure garden—perfect for letting the dogs out while you prep for a beach trip! 🍳
Lounge & Snug: Two separate living spaces for maximum relaxation! The main lounge features a large Smart TV and DVD player, while the snug is a cosy nook with its own French doors onto the decking. 📺📖
King Bedroom: Beautifully furnished with a King-size bed, hotel-quality linen, and blackout curtains for the perfect night’s sleep. 😴
Twin Bedroom: A light, airy room with period charm and plenty of storage. 🛌🛌
Bunk Bedroom: Adult-sized bunks—ideal for children or extra adults
The Bathrooms: A downstairs family bathroom with a full-size bath and a large walk-in shower. 🚿 Plus, an additional WC upstairs for convenience.

Note: There is a small, shallow ornamental pond in the garden. We just ask that you supervise children and dogs around it. 🐸

Is there a dog-friendly pub nearby? 🍻 Yes! The Cricketers on the Green is just a short stroll across the village green. It is famously dog-friendly and serves fantastic food and local ales. It's the perfect spot for a post-walk reward!
How many dogs can I bring? 🐕 We welcome 2 dogs for free, but if you have a larger pack, please reach out to Gail—we love to accommodate whenever we can!
Is the garden escape-proof? 🛡️ With 5–6ft solid wooden fencing, it is very secure for most dogs. We just ask for supervision near the small pond.
What about the stairs? 🪜 The cottage has a traditional feel, but the main family bathroom is conveniently located on the ground floor.
