Built with passion, grit, and a “skip-saver’s” eye for beauty, this 20ft shipping container has been transformed by owner Stu (a lifelong windsurfer and former RNLI Lifeboat Commander) into a sanctuary for those who want to strip life back to the good stuff.
Forget the “hooman-soup” of plastic hot tubs and the glare of big-screen TVs. Here, the luxury is in the story. From the scaffolding-plank verandah to the pallet-wood kitchen and the firepit made from a recycled washing machine, every inch of this stay has been salvaged and repurposed with soul. It’s “Caveman Ethos” meets modern comfort—just you, the dogs, and the stars.

Reactive Dog Guide
The Container is a 3-star Reactive Friendly property. Stu has gone above and beyond to ensure the garden is a safe zone. The area immediately surrounding the container is enclosed with 4ft+ fencing and secure gates. Beyond that, you have access to Stu’s larger private garden and a 10-acre field. There is no passing foot traffic and no neighbour dogs peering over the fence—just peace, quiet, and a very secure sniff-space.

On ArrivalPark up and breathe. You’ll be greeted by the sight of the "Industrial Chic" container nestled into its green surroundings. Step onto the scaffolding verandah—the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening beer while the dogs explore their new secure garden.

Living, Cooking & "Unplugging"The Kitchen: Hand-built from pallets and salvaged wood, it has everything you need for simple, delicious meals. No microwave here—just real cooking and local ingredients.
The Lounge: A space designed for conversation and connection. There’s a wood-burning stove that keeps the well-insulated "tin" toasty even in biblical rain. Dogs are more than welcome on the sofa—we’ve got the throws ready!

The Sleeping NookA clever, compact double bed designed for deep sleep. With the fair-faced ply walls and the sound of the rain, it feels like a high-end cabin.

Not at all! It’s heavily insulated and there is an electric radiator plus the fire pit outside turning it toasty in minutes.Can I bring 4 large dogs?
Honestly? You can, but it’ll be a "human-and-hound" jigsaw puzzle! It’s a 20ft container, so we recommend it for 1-2 large dogs or 3-4 smaller ones.What if my dog is an escape artist?
Stu's dog Bodhi is the "Houdini" of Cockerpoos, and he hasn't escaped yet! The fencing is solid.
