Reactive Dog Guide
Seagull Cottage is a 2 Star Reactive Friendly Cottage, heading very much towards a 3 Star. It is in a residential street with plenty of street parking. Exit your dogs from the car on leads and once inside Seagull Cottage they are secure. The rear garden (accessed from the kitchen patio doors) is VERY secure, with solid fencing at 6 feet high all around. Whilst there are neighbours on either side, it is a very quiet street with little activity. The beach is a 5 min walk away and the beach itself is dog friendly all year round
Accessibility guide
Seagull Cottage has both bedrooms upstairs. The stairs are not steep and have a wider mid section a few steps from the bottom. Please do let me know if you have any accessibility questions

Are the stairs steep? Actually, no! Clare has cleverly reconfigured the staircase to ensure they are not steep, and they even have a wider mid-section for easier climbing.
Is the garden safe for my dog? Yes. With 6ft solid fencing and a section of artificial grass, it is one of our most secure and practical gardens.
Can I park easily? Yes, there is plenty of free, quiet on-street parking directly outside the cottage on Coronation Terrace.

We had a fabulous week in Seagull Cottage which is nicely decorated and in a great location and equipped with everything we needed for a lovely holiday

What a gem of a cottage! Situated in a quiet street with ample parking, the cottage was perfect for a relaxing break.
It is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with everything we need for a getaway
The beds and sofas were really comfy and the garden was well used – we ate breakfast and evening meals out there every day!
The beach is just a few minutes walk in one direction and local shops and the bus stop are just a few mins in the other direction
There is a good choice of places to eat and drink within walking distance and it was a great base for exploring, we visited Southwold, Aldeburgh and Oulton Broad

A very beautiful home and practical which has everything you could possibly think of for a holiday by the sea
Pakefield is lovely with the best fish and chip shop just up the road and a brilliant gastropub that looks out to sea
Great value and would recommend it to anyone seeking a getaway. All you need is to pack your clothes and everything is on hand

Stunning cottage! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable! The location is perfect for exploring the area and the beach ….wow! Just the place for morning walks and the dogs loved it!
Breakfast at Zaks on the beach was great and the Jolly Sailors at the end of the road is worth a visit

Seagull Cottage is perfect for discovering Suffolk’s coast and nature reserves
We stayed with elderly parents and they loved every minute. Clare thoughtfully provided everything we needed
The cottage is tastefully decorated , cosy and a short walk from fish and chip shops and pubs

The cottage is very cosy and beautifully decorated throughout. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. The beds are very comfortable and the location is great!
Just a 2 min walk from the beach and the Jolly Sailors pub which is very dog friendly and does lovely food.
The second time we have stayed with Clare and we will certainly be returning next year!
