Curlew Cottage is located on a quiet residential street with plenty of free on-street parking. As you step inside, the warm and inviting decor immediately makes you feel at ease.

Living & Dining

• The Living Room: Beautifully restored, this room features a charming fireplace with a realistic electric stove—all the "hygge" vibes without the fuss. There are two comfortable sofas and a large Smart TV for those cosy nights in.

• The Dining Room: An elegant separate space with seating for four. It’s perfect for long breakfasts or an evening of board games. The stylish dresser is stocked with a selection of family games, glassware, and crockery.

The Kitchen

The fully equipped kitchen is a dream for keen cooks:

• Integrated dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and a fridge-freezer.

• Microwave, toaster, and kettle.

• For Coffee Lovers: Tassimo machine, cafetière, and a teapot.

• Laundry: The washing machine is tucked away neatly in the boiler cupboard.

• Outdoor Access: A back door leads directly out into the private, secure garden.

• Bedroom 1 (The Master): A luxurious King-size bed with a premium mattress, plenty of storage, and a dedicated hair-drying station. This room overlooks the quiet rear garden and features its own En-Suite bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.

• Main Shower Room: Located downstairs, this spacious room features a dual-head shower—perfect for a morning refresh.

The garden at Curlew Cottage is a real standout feature.

• 6ft Secure Fencing: The entire rear garden is fully enclosed by solid 6ft fencing, ensuring both privacy and safety for your dogs.

• Sunny Days: It’s a real sun-trap! We provide a patio area with a table, parasol, two sun loungers, and a BBQ for alfresco dining.

• The Details: There is a path leading to a rear gate, framed by shrubs and borders, giving the dogs plenty of interesting "sniffing" spots.

Curlew Cottage is a 2-Star Reactive Friendly property.

• Quiet Location: Situated on a residential street with very little activity.

• Arrival: We suggest exiting your dogs on leads from the car. Once they are through the door, the property is entirely secure.

• Garden Privacy: The 6ft solid fencing means your dogs are not overlooked by neighbors or distracted by people passing by the rear.

• Walks: Pakefield is a very relaxed area with many quiet side streets and wide-open beach spaces for dogs who like their bubble.

❓ FAQs

Are the stairs steep? Being a traditional fisherman’s cottage, the stairs are slightly steeper than modern ones. We recommend taking care, though they are perfectly manageable for most.

Where do I park? There is plenty of free, quiet on-street parking directly outside the cottage on Nelson Road.

How secure is the garden for dogs? The garden is exceptionally secure with solid 6ft fencing all around. It’s one of the reasons Curlew is so popular with our multi-dog owners!
