Step through the front door into a wide, bright, and beautifully panelled hallway where a classic portrait of Captain Cook welcomes you to your seaside retreat.

🍳 Kitchen & Dining Room To the right of the hallway is the fabulous, high-spec Navy Blue Shaker-style kitchen and dining room. It comes fully equipped with premium appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine with a built-in dryer. 🧼 Gather the whole crew around the grand, expandable Captain’s Table (seating 8-10 people) to enjoy a full English breakfast or a traditional supper of world-famous Whitby fish and chips! Double doors connect this space to the lounge, allowing you to choose between open-plan socialising or a cosy closed-off kitchen. 🐟🍟

🛋️ The Lounge Located at the end of the hallway, the lounge is a coastal, light-filled haven decorated in beautiful seaside tones of aqua, navy, and white. It features white oak distressed flooring, premium painted oak furniture, and an elegant fireplace with a solid cast iron coal-effect electric fire—ideal for cosy evening relaxation. Sink into the deep leather sofas, pick out a game from the bookcase, or catch a film on the TV with the full Sky Movies package, all while enjoying peaceful views out to the secure rear garden. 🎬🔥

• How do I collect the keys? Guests are asked to call the owner, Debra, a few days before arrival to obtain the key safe instructions and receive her helpful directions sheet. 🚪
• Is there a start day for bookings? In peak season, we operate on a strict 7-night minimum stay with a Saturday start. In the off-peak season, we gladly offer flexible 3 and 4-night short breaks starting on Fridays or Mondays. 📅
