Cottage Details

On Arrival

As you drive into the peaceful hamlet of Penparc and follow the quiet country lane to Beudy Gwyn, you immediately feel the calm of coastal Pembrokeshire. You’ll find ample off-road parking right beside the cottage, making arrival smooth and convenient—especially when travelling with dogs.

Once parked, walk through the gate into the front enclosed garden, where sweeping views across the Irish Sea greet you instantly. From there, step through the porch into the hallway and begin your Pembrokeshire adventure.  Note that when unloading dogs from the car, there is a section of fencing nearer to the quiet lane that is around 3 foot high.  The paddock gate isnt currently meshed so please be aware of this if you have very small dogs.

Inside Beudy Gwyn – Room-by-Room

Kitchen

The spacious, fully fitted kitchen gives you everything you need for relaxed holiday cooking. It includes:

  • Halogen electric cooker

  • Large fridge-freezer (ideal for raw-fed dog food or big family shops)

  • Washing machine & tumble dryer

  • Microwave, toaster, grill

  • Dishwasher

  • Breakfast table for easy mornings

  • Plenty of storage

  • Lovely views of the garden and countryside

Because it’s bright and airy, this kitchen works perfectly for preparing anything from simple lunches to hearty Welsh dinners after a long day of exploring.

Dining Room

Next, step into the beautiful dining room, which is full of character. With open rafters, a spacious dining table and patio doors leading straight onto the decking, the room invites you to gather, relax and enjoy meals together.

Whether you’re hosting a family dinner, playing board games after a beach day, or simply admiring the garden views, this room adds warmth to every moment.

Living Room

The living room offers a cosy and inviting space designed for comfort. Here, you can settle into:

  • Open log-burning fire for snug evenings

  • 32 inch Smart TV, DVD player, Freeview, radio and WiFi

  • Games, jigsaws, books and family entertainment

  • Picture windows with breathtaking Irish Sea views

While you can’t see the sea view from the sofa when seated, you can easily stand by the window to watch fishing boats, dramatic sunsets, or coastal wildlife. This room feels wonderful after long walks on the coastal path.

Sunroom

Added in 2018, the sunroom quickly becomes a guest favourite — and it’s easy to see why. The panoramic coastal views are spectacular, and on a clear day you can even spot the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland.

Because it’s west-facing, you can enjoy some of Pembrokeshire’s most beautiful sunsets from here. With a comfortable sofa, bistro table and chairs, the sunroom is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or peaceful end-of-day unwinding.
