Allmore Cottage, Gratton, Leek
Allmore Cottage us set in a gorgeous countryside location with stunning views in this small hamlet of Gratton. The cottage is set in 14 acres and hidden away on the south west edge of the Peak District National Park. It is set in the grounds of Hallmoor Meadows Farm and you can enjoy the gorgeous private garden, fields, meadows (with a stream) and a well-stocked pond if you enjoy a bit of coarse fishing (which is exclusive to Allmore Cottage guests). Spend some time watching the wildlife and birds too.
Only 4 miles from the lovely market town of Leek in Staffordshire where you can find a myriad of independent shops, antique shops and dog friendly pubs. A short distance takes you to Ashbourne (with its cobbled streets) or Buxton (with its Georgian grandeur). Rudyard Lake with its walks and steam railway is only 2 miles away and Bakewell too, with its markets and the lovely canal walks that are close by and do take time to see the Roaches with its amazing walks and views
It’s location means you are in nice driving distance to Cheshire and Staffs as well as having the Peak District on your doorstep.

The private patio area is fenced to a height of 4 feet (the lower 1.5 has small block fencing and the upper part is open). There is an enclosed grassed area for you and your dogs to use. This is fenced (one side rabbit meshed)

Living Room / Kitchen / Dining Area
It has an open plan living area with vaulted ceiling, a fabric reclining sofa and chair, gas central heating, woodburning stove. There are books and information about the local area for you to peruse.. There is an excellently equipped modern kitchen with an air fryer, dishwasher and freezer, plenty of cupboard space for storing groceries and a dining table and chairs to enjoy a romantic dinner
Bedroom
The bedroom has a king size bed with bedside tables, wardrobe, TV and a chest of drawers. There is an armchair and more on site books to enjoy, The ensuite bathroom has a whirlpool bath and separate shower cubicle.
Conservatory (with Door leading to the Rear Garden)
Ideal for relaxing in and enjoying the views across the surrounding countryside. Open the double doors to access the private patio area which is fenced to a height of 4 feet (the lower 1.5 has small block fencing and the upper part is open).
Gardens

14 Acres of Ground
The cottage gives you access to 14 acres of ground to explore with your dogs
Gym
A gate from the patio takes you to the log cabin where you will find a well equipped mini gymnasium comprising of a cross trainer, an exercise bike, a multi gym and a bench and set of weights.
Coarse Fishing on site
If you would prefer a more relaxing break there is a fully stocked coarse fishing pond close to the cottage with a variety of types and sizes of fish for the keen and novice angler alike. And, if fishing doesn't take your fancy you could take a wander down the stream in the surrounding fields, and take in some of the local flora and fauna. There is a wide variety of birds right on the doorstep, and it is not uncommon to see kingfishers and Green woodpeckers by the pond or along the stream. Fishing is exclusive to cottage guests!

Please Note:
- That Allmore Cottage is a non smoking cottage and we would be grateful if you could respect this.
- There is a refundable security deposit of £100 for first time Pack Holidays guests
- If you do wish your dogs to sleep with you, please arrange to bring your own bed linen
- Please do be aware of the very rural nature of this location and that dogs must be on leads around sheep and cattle
