Drive past the village shop and pond to find Whistle Stop perfectly positioned opposite the green. Step into the lobbyโa brilliant, practical space for shedding boots, leads, and drying off muddy dogs after a trek.

The Dining Room: A warm, welcoming space with a large table for six, exposed beams, and an electric log-effect fire. ๐ชต Weโve stocked the dresser with board games and books for those slow holiday evenings.
The Kitchen: Light and well-equipped with a Belfast sink, double electric oven, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. The kitchen door lead straight out to the secure gardenโperfect for letting the dogs out while you prep for a beach trip! ๐ณ
Lounge & Snug: Two separate living spaces for maximum relaxation! The main lounge features a large Smart TV and DVD player, while the snug is a cosy nook with its own French doors onto the decking. ๐บ๐
King Bedroom: Beautifully furnished with a King-size bed, hotel-quality linen, and blackout curtains for the perfect nightโs sleep. ๐ด
Twin Bedroom: A light, airy room with period charm and plenty of storage. ๐๐

Is there a dog-friendly pub nearby? ๐ป Yes! The Cricketers on the Green is just a short stroll across the village green. It is famously dog-friendly and serves fantastic food and local ales. It's the perfect spot for a post-walk reward!
How many dogs can I bring? ๐ We welcome 2 dogs for free, but if you have a larger pack, please reach out to Gailโwe love to accommodate whenever we can!
Is the garden escape-proof? ๐ก๏ธ With 5โ6ft solid wooden fencing, it is very secure for most dogs. We just ask for supervision near the small pond.
What about the stairs? ๐ช The cottage has a traditional feel, but the main family bathroom is conveniently located on the ground floor.

Thank you Stephen and Amanda, A fabulous cottage, tastefully decorated and well equipped in one of the nicest rural villages in Norfolk. The garden is delightful and we enjoyed sitting in the summer house in the late afternoons. Having a village store is a great plus, it’s well stocked with friendly staff. Lots of quiet walks from the doorstep, including Weavers Way and more great walks further afield and along the coastal path. The bluebells at Blickling were amazing.
