To start your walk, park at Mundesley Church car park. (There is a donation request). The postcode to find the church is NR11 8BE
From the Church Car Park, head head onto the coastal path and down the steps onto the beach. Walk to your left
This beach is all dog friendly and you can let your dogs off lead to enjoy the freedom (but do bear in mind other dog walkers if you have a Ben the Baddie like me!)
It is a straight walk, the whole way to Overstrand but there are so many interesting things to see and observe .
As you arrive at Trimmingham (around 2 miles from Mundesley) head over the sea defences and you will see some old railway tracks from the war which are on the beach along with a old truck and many other interesting parts.
There is some coastal erosion along this stretch of beach and the next beach you will come to is Sidestrand.
This amazing expanse of beach is fantastic for reactive dogs as its so secluded and quiet and when the tides low you could literally be in another country,
There are lots of rock pools here so it’s great for dogs and children.
At Overstrand there is a wonderful dog friendly cafe called the Cliff Top Cafe which serves food and drink,
There is also the White Horse pub locally which is also very dog friendly and serves lovely food, To get there, go back the way you came on this walk.
This walk is around 12 miles (from Mundesley to Overstrand and back) but it is well worth it and just perfect for reactive or fearful dogs
Returning to Mundesley there is also the Ship Inn, which is very dog friendly and serves amazing food
