Fancy a lovely coastal walk with your dogs, taking in all the seaside scenery, wild outlooks and gorgeous views that our wonderful coast has to offer?
Look no further than a wonderful coastal walk from Overstrand to Cromer
This walk (one way) is around 2.2 miles and a gentle amble all the way
Parking: You can park in Overstrand (street parking) outside the White Horse or alternatively, drive down towards the beach and use the Pay and Display car park. There are public toilets at the car park too
You can start off your walk by either walking along the (signed) coastal path at the top of the beach, so you get the most tremendous views (and fabulous photo opportunities) or alternatively walk along the beach.
If you do the coastal path, you can take a break at a few strategically placed benches and look forward to the return journey via the beach
Using the coastal path, follow it till you reach Cromer. There are an abundance of coffee shops, restaurants, pet shops to explore.
In Cromer town, you will find lots of other on lead dogs – Cromer is extremely dog friendly
Why not take the return walking journey via the beach? If you pick your tide times correctly, you will have a huge expanse of dog friendly beach to let your dogs off lead and run free. Lots of opportunity for paddles in the sea, exploring rock pools and generally having a gorgeous time!
Dont forget to look up and all around you! The cliff backdrop is absolutely stunning
Finish off with refreshments at The White Horse (dog friendly), and pat yourself on the back for treating your dogs to a lovely day out.
