Description 

Norah’s Cottage is situated in such a quiet spot in a fabulously rural location.  It is an end of terrace house (two houses next door) and has a very secure garden.  

There is very very little passing traffic, Weavers Way is practically on the doorstep and you have gorgeous views of fields as far as the eye can see.

Smashing country walks, access to our lovely dog friendly beaches and the Norfolk Broads nearby (Potter Heigham of course!!)

 Cottage Details

When you arrive

Park your car in the parking area at the side of the house and go straight ahead into the secure garden (via 6 foot solid fence).  The front door leads in to the:

Porch

Perfect for storing outdoor shoes, leads and doggy towels

Continuing through the next door and turn right into the:

Kitchen

There is plenty of storage space and there is an electric cooker, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.  You will find a dining table with plenty of seating for all.

Bathroom

The family bathroom is at the rear of the house and has a bath with shower over wash basin and toilet

Living Room

This relaxing living room has plenty of seating with two three seater settees and a single comfy chair. There is a TV, and unlimited WiFi is included.  The living room is carpeted. 

Go through the hallway and turn back into the kitchen.  The stairs are on the other side of the kitchen.  Note that the stairs are a little steep!

On the right hand side at the top of the stairs you will find

Bedroom 1

The master bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, bedside tables, lamps, wardrobe and dresser.  The bedroom has views to the front and rear of the property and the views really are beautiful.

Come back into the hallway and turn left to go into the

Bedroom 2

This bedroom has views over the rear of the cottage (the views over the field are gorgeous!)  It is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, side tables and lamps

Turn back into the hallway and into :

Bedroom 3

This bedroom has views over the front of the property and has two single beds.

Outdoor Space

There is parking for two cars to the side of the property.

The garden is secure and mainly laid to lawn..  There is garden furniture and a gas barbeque.

  • Dog bowls, towels/dog blankets, holiday dog tags, furniture throws, toys and poo bags

Reactive Friendly Award Details

3 Star⭐⭐⭐

Norah’s Cottage is situated in a very quiet road in a very rural location with little passing traffic.  

The garden is all at the front (grassed) and has 7 feet hedging all around and solid 6 foot entrance gate. Once the garden gate is closed the garden is secured .  

The cottage is surrounded by farm land.  To date, we have had no reports of bird scarers but we will keep an eye on this!

Directions

From the A149 Stalham bypass take the turning signposted Hickling, which is opposite the second Catfield turning.  Follow New Road to the junction then turn right onto Potter Heigham Road.

Follow Potter Heigham Road and take the first turning on your left down Back Lane.  Norah’s Cottage is the first cottage you reach (and you approach it ‘side on’).
